身處2020年的香港，Leatherism來到第11個年頭。土身土長兩個香港人，靠的是對手縫皮革製作的堅持，毋忘初衷，永遠記得公文袋形證件套，在旺角小店上架的情境依舊歷歷在目。
【港産皮革】就是要發揚香港製造；MADE IN HONG KONG在我們父母的年代是金漆招牌，下一代要做的何止力保，更是超越。
兩個人四隻手，妄想香港人自己皮具自己造，人人都是香港製造－這是【好好縫】和【揼揼縫】材料包系列的原點。材料包選料意大利製植鞣皮革，油脂、樹膏、氣味、防污處理、色澤－都是百年傳統精粹－剛剛好，我們親身使用、觀察、反映、訂製，帶來品質最好的，打造香港製造最好的。
除了設計及手縫皮革製品，亦不定期舉辦工作坊。2011年成為香港首家推出D.I.Y皮革材料包系列的本地品牌，並一直持續發展，推陳出新，積極推動手作生活態度及宣揚其品牌理念。多年來曾與多個品牌、慈善機構及媒界合作，將其品牌及手製皮革推廣至社會的不同領域和範疇。
Leather handmade products design house based in Hong Kong since 2009. We launch "Leather DIY kit series" since 2011. We believe leather craft should be everywhere for everyone which we aim at promoting leather craft in Hong Kong and worldwide.
Leatherism - A local brand created by Isa Lai and Michael Chan founded in 2009. Leatherism began with a love story between the founders and the love of design and their desire to create quality leather goods. They have since combined the two elements to create something phenomenal.
This traditional craftsmanship allows the duo to make the perfect products that are both functional and have a striking design. They believe by implementing unique designs in every detail of life, will lead the way to a more beautiful future. The products are all hand-stitched, using advanced vegetable tanned leather which enhances the unusually rich color. What makes it extra distinctive is their use of curves; the use of the product will create an umber effect over the years, adding darker details to the areas.
In addition to design and hand-stitched leather products, Leatherism also hosts workshops and launches DIY leather materials package series. These are created to promote local handmade products in Hong Kong. They have worked with multiple brands, charities, and media partnerships. Feel free to get in touch for more information.
